Water Treatment Plants Arc Flash Studies

This work included data gathering, system modeling, analysis, and arc flash labeling for three Arlington facilities: Arlington Raw Water Pump Station; Pierce Burch Water Treatment Plant; and John F. Kabala Water Treatment Plant. The raw water pump station and the high services pump stations at the plants are rated at 4160V.
The project also required developing mitigation opportunities for the RWPS as the study revealed a higher than desired arc flash hazard there. In addition, GAI was responsible to install the arc flash labels.
