Established in Dallas, Texas in January 2000, Gupta & Associates, Inc (GAI) is a client oriented consulting firm committed to providing sound and proven engineering design. Our engineers and designers have extensive experience in all types of electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, plumbing, control system design and provide complete and accurate construction documents. We offer experienced staff for review of documents during construction administration, startup, troubleshooting and controls programming.

From its inception, the firm has been focused on performing consulting engineering for electrical distribution and controls design, SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems design, as well as instrumentation and controls design. GAI has specialized in delivering these services for water and wastewater projects. Facilities include water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, storage tanks, meter vaults, etc. We provide engineering evaluations, preliminary reports, electrical system modeling and power studies, final design, and construction phase services including construction inspections, field training, startup, and commissioning. Our staff also provides programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) programming, field training, startup, and testing for the control systems. GAI provides power system studies/analysis to determine arc-flash and protective device coordination to ensure a safe electrical system. GAI’s services also include Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection (MEP) design.
